Guest Editor. PAM KEFSEY Pam Keesey is the editor of the anthologies Daughters of Darkness: Lesbian Vampire Tales; Dark Angels: Lesbian Vampire Erotica; Women Who Run with the Werewolves: Tales ofBlood, Lust, and Metamorphosis; and &i-Fi Womanthology (with Forrest 1. Ackerman); and the author of Vamps: An Illustrated History of the Femme Fatale. She also served as publisher/editor of the ten issues of Monsterzine.com. For several years around the Millennium she served as Co-Director ofArcana Programming.

Guest Publisher. GREG KETTER Greg Ketter is the founder/owner of DreamHaven Books (since 1977; various Twin Cities locations), generally considered one of the world's premiere science fiction/fantasy bookstores. He is also the publisher/editor of DreamHaven Publishing, whose books include Temporary Walls: An Anthology of Moral Fantasy (co-edited with Robert T. Garcia) and Shelf Life: Fantastic Stories Celebrating Bookstores. He is also a serious devotee of horror films and their related paraphernalia; has served as Chair of the World Fantasy Convention (1993 and 2(02) and Minicon, and has been a long-time Minn-ConIArcana supporter.

Guest Author. JOHN J. KOBLAS John 1. Koblas is a founder ofMinn-Con, the predecessor ofArcana. He is the author ofmany books ofWestem history, including several about the James-Younger Gang's Northfield, Minnesota raid He has also written books on F. Scott Fitzgerald and Sinclair Lewis, and the Doc & Tweed History Mystery young adult series, and is the co-editor (with A.M Decker) ofthe fantasy-pulp collection Tumithak ofthe Corridors by Charles R Tanner. Between 1973 and 1987 he co-edited (with Eric Carlson and R Alain Everts) ten issues of the fantasy magazine Etchings & Odysseys. 10 "

Programming Arcana features its usual solid track "JfPiBleis, presentations, readings, and films related to the dark fantastic, including panels on Monster Culture, French and Italian baTor iUms, iutd "What are You Reading?" Hotel The Best WesteI'J1,JOI0 Bandana Blvd W, at Bandana Square, St Paul, is a former railroad building with original tracks nmning through the lobby, and has a'swimming pool, sauna, free internet computer, and free wireless. A free Continental breakfast is served in the lobby for hotel guests. Bandana Square next door has the Twin City Model Railroad Museum (admission $6). A nearby restaurant is Gabes by the Park, 991 Lexington Parkway N (about three blocks from the hotel). A variety of restaurants lie within a mile and a half The hotel has a strong conneCtiOn to the fun community; this year it hosted the Western convention eon.:s8rmt June 4; mid willhost the speculative fiction convention Diversicon July 29-31. Hospitality Arcana is a mellow but stimulating gathering of readers and viewers of the dark funtastic. Part of our pleasant social atmosphere is our hospitality suite, open friday, mid-afternoon to late night, and Saturday and Sunday, mid-moming to late night; hosted by Twin Cities hospitality mainstay Sybil M. Smith and her associates. Stop in for refreshments and conversation. Hospitality will be supplemented by Krushenko's late night Friday and Saturday and mid to late night Sunday, featuring films and conversation.

Dealers and Art Show Dealers/Art: Arcana has a Vendor Room catering to the serious collector. Dealers can get memberShips at $25 per Person plus $30 for a table. Attending Artists can get table space tor $1 per bid sheet (per piece). Walk-in art will be accepted from a non-attending arti&1 or their agent tl.)r $2 per bid sheet.
